It is also responsible for component assembly, testing, qualification, delivery and after sales services for the Italian armed forces.

Avio has played an outstanding role in promoting the 20th century’s great technological revolution in marine propulsion. Fiat’s research laboratories and plants started designing and producing marine engines as early as 1903. Safety and high performance have been consolidated characteristics ever since.
