Components and structures
Besides the development and production of complete engine modules, Avio is also involved in the design, testing, manufacturing and repair of complex and technologically valuable components on a wide variety of jet engines and turbofans
Among the most challenging parts are:
- turbine blades and vanes;
- turbine and compressor disks and shafts;
- rotating seals;
- bearing and shroud supports;
- big frames;
- casings and other structural parts.
Dedicated workshops in the different Avio production sites are specialised and optimised for manufacturing these components.
