Change of the address of the office in Warsaw
The location of the Avio Polska office of in Warsaw will be changed on the 5th of January 2011.
Avio transfers technologies to WZL4 SA
On 8/09/2010 during MSPO Exhibition in Kielce, in presence of the vice minister of economy Dariusz Bogdan and Undersecretary of State of Ministry of National Defence Marcin Idzik, there was signed a commercial contract between WZL4 and AVIO concerning purchase of Plasma Coating System by WZL4, for the Avio’s benefit.
Krzysztof Krystowski appointed Vice President Eastern Europe
Mr. Krzysztof Krystowski besides the present position of the President of the Board of Avio Polska was appointed Vice President Eastern Europe of Avio Group on 01.06.2010 and will be responsible for business interests of Avio Group in this part of Europe.
Change at the position of the President of Avio Polska Ltd.
On 29.09.2008 took place a ceremony of farewell of the President Vincenzo Martorana and appointment of Mr. Krzysztof Krystowski to this position.
Avio and WZL4 S.A. Consortium – The Polish Aeroengines Group POLONIA AERO
On 30 January 2008, Avio concluded with Wojskowe Zakłady Lotnicze Nr 4 S.A (Military Aircraft Works a consortium under the name of the Polish Aeroengines Group POLONIA AERO. The main goal of the consortium is to face the needs of the Polish Air Force within the scope of overhauls of the newest western aircraft engines. This customer currently has not such service available in Poland and uses services of foreign companies.
